President of the Rotary Club of the Bronx for 2022-23, Sandy Wolstein, Secretary Mary Springman and Treasurer Carlos de la Concha were installed at a relaxed potluck barbecue at the Bronx YMCA on June 28, 2022 by PDG Mary Shackleton.
The weather was perfect for a the installation of our Club's new President and Board of Directors. A picnic menu was supplemented by dishes prepared or carried in by Bronx Rotarians so a feast was enjoyed by all who attended. Tucked in a shaded corner of the generous facilities at the Bronx YMCA, the formalities of the event, which included a recap by Outgoing President Rick Sherman of his year and the accomplishments made, Incoming President Sandy Wolstein's outline of what she hoped for her year as President, and the induction of 5 new members, were taken care of early on. Attendees then enjoyed socializing, the musical vocalizations of the very talented Freddie Lando and some karaoke fun.
